It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to the newest dentist at 38 Devonshire Street, specialist in prosthodontics and implant dentist Dr Neel Patel.
Neel’s main clinical interests include aesthetic, implant and reconstructive dentistry. He is experienced in all the aspects of restorative dentistry, including both straightforward and complex treatment.
Neel graduated from the University of Bristol in 2002, and completed Vocational Training followed by two years as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He spent the next few years working in general practice, whilst maintaining a part time teaching position at King’s College Hospital, London, in the Oral Surgery Department. As part of his specialist training, he completing the MClinDent in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from the UCL Eastman Dental Institute, London, with Distinction and was awarded the UCL Dental School Commemorative Prize for clinical and academic excellence in Prosthodontics.
After being awarded the Membership in Prosthodontics (MPros) from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2011, he accepted a scholarship from the International Team for Implantology (ITI) to undertake a two year Fellowship in Implant Dentistry, at the Centre for Implant Dentistry, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA.
Alongside his clinical work Neel is a Mentor and Speaker for the UK section of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and is a Clinical Teaching Fellow in Prosthodontics, at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute.
