Dr. Gaynor Langley

Owner & Principal Dentist - BDS (1989) GDC No. 64997

Dr Gaynor Langley is the Principal dentist and owner of 38 Devonshire Street where she has practiced as a General Dentist since 1991. Gaynor is passionate about every aspect of the care of her patients and has a particular interest in comprehensive high-quality restorative dentistry, preventing dental disease and the treatment of children and anxious adult patients through good psychological behavioural management. She does this through her calm, gentle approach and an ability to listen and tune in at a deep level.

Her experience over the past 30 years has been both broad and deep and has covered much change within the profession. There is very little she hasn’t experienced and she has the ability to meet the needs of all her patients with the simplest to the most complex of problems. She has always upheld the principles of minimally invasive dentistry and, where possible, the preservation of the natural beauty of a sound dentition through an active approach to prevention. This ethos runs throughout every aspect of 38 Devonshire Street.

Gaynor graduated from Guy’s Dental School in 1989 having won both the Newland Pedley Medal and Prize and the Stephen D Hey Prize for Restorative Dentistry. She completed further training in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Guy’s Hospital and then at Stoke Mandeville Hospital as Senior House Officer in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department.

In 2010, she set up Seminars@thirtyeight, a dedicated continuing education facility within the practice. The aim was to inspire, motivate and teach world-class dentistry to dentists and their teams. Hundreds of dentists and their teams have benefitted from her training programmes over the years and many masterclasses have been led by some of leading lights of our profession from around the world at 38. This year we are placing a special emphasis on training and empowerment of women in dentistry

Gaynor is the mother of four children and has successfully combined her full-time professional career with bringing up her own children.
